Mission Statement:
To educate ourselves and others about ecological engineering and the potential for ecological engineering, to develop our potential as ecological engineers, to develop ecological engineering as a course of study at OSU and as an area of science in the broader community, and to influence local and global sustainability. By implementing our mission statement we will:

 Educate:
-Apply what we have learned by designing, constructing, and managing Ecological Engineering projects
-Educate ourselves, our non-Ecological Engineering community, and our colleagues in all disciplines that relate to Ecological Engineering

Exchange ideas:
-Promote ecological engineering
-Participate in the broader Ecological Engineering community
-Provide a central location for Ecological Engineering information
-Provide a forum for the discussion and promotion of the field of Ecological Engineering

Provide professional development opportunities:
-Explore career opportunities for ourselves by bringing in practitioners
-Network with the Ecological Engineering community (ourselves, local practitioners, and the global community)
-Explore present and future career opportunities
-Make research presentations to further our career ambitions

 Develop the Ecological Engineering curriculum and presence at OSU and elsewhere:
