Director’s Wetland Ph.D. Fellowship

The Wilma H. Schiermeier Olentangy River Wetland Research Park (ORWRP) at The Ohio State University is pleased to announce the first Director’s Wetland Research Fellowship competition for potential Ph.D. students interested in wetland ecology, science, engineering, and/or policy at the ORWRP at Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA.  Research will be conducted in programs at the ORWRP and can be at any of a number of local and/or international wetland research sites by mutual agreement between the successful candidate and the ORWRP Director.  The 2006-07 stipend is for $20,000 per year (4 quarters) in addition to tuition and fees.  Funding for subsequent years will be dependent on successful academic and research progress. The successful student must be accepted in one of several appropriate academic programs at The Ohio State University (http://www.osu.edu/), with preference given to applicants to the School of Environment and Natural Resources or the Environmental Science Graduate Program.
