Tour of Franklin Park Conservatory
Saturday May 10 at 10:30am
Behind the scenes tour of the Franklin Park Conservatory near downtown Columbus.
The Franklin Park Conservatory houses unique plant collections in four greenhouse climate zones. It's an incredible place to visit and we get to learn how it works.
We will meet at 10:30am at the reception desk on the second floor. The tour should last about an hour, and then some of us may want to look around afterwards. Student admission price applies, $5.00, (though I have been told it might be $3.50 for our group, and you might want to bring your Buck ID if this is a student price). I'm told we'll get a tour of the workings and climate regulation of the buildings, as well as some good Q&A opportunities. The conservatory is also just a really great place to walk around in and enjoy, especially with a group of eco-engineers. If anyone wants to carpool or needs a ride, please contact Jeff or the group.
We can carpool together to the location at 1777 East Broad St (see map below)
